Game Guides Just Got Smarter

We built our Intelligent Game Guide because getting help in a game shouldn't mean leaving it.

Since we first launched the guide, we've been paying close attention to how people use it and what they wanted to see changed. That feedback drove a pretty big set of improvements that are live now. Here's what’s new.

It gives you better answers

We've made significant updates under the hood. The guide is better at understanding what you're asking, better at filtering through game information to find what's relevant, and better at giving you a clear, useful answer.

If you've asked the guide something before and gotten a vague or generic response, try it again. The difference is noticeable, especially for complex questions like build recommendations, quest walkthroughs, or "where do I find this item" when the answer depends on where you are in the game.

It remembers what you talked about

The guide now keeps your conversation history per game, synced across the app, overlay, and mobile app. Ask a follow-up like "where exactly?" or "how do I get there?" and it knows what you're referring to.

This was one of the most requested improvements, and it changes how the guide feels to use. Instead of treating every question like a fresh search, you can have an actual conversation. Start with a broad question, then narrow down based on what the guide tells you. It makes the whole experience feel more like getting help from someone who knows the game inside and out.

It stays up to date

Game wikis can be incomplete or outdated, especially after patches and DLC drops. The guide now pulls in the latest information from the web, so you're not working off stale tips from three patches ago.

This matters most for games that get frequent updates or have active communities where information changes fast. The guide stays current so you don't have to cross-reference multiple sources to figure out if a walkthrough still applies.

Try it free this weekend

The Intelligent Game Guide is normally a Pro feature, but this weekend (March 6th - 9th) it's free to try for everyone. It works across 300+ supported games. Open any of them in Wand, start asking questions, and let us know what you think!
