Boost explained
Boost is how you tell the Wand team which games you'd like mods developed for next. It's your way to support the games you care about most.
Community-Driven Prioritization: Boosts help push selected games higher in Wand's mods development queue.
Available to everyone: Free and Pro members can both Boost games. Pro subscribers get 25 Boosts per month, while everyone can earn rewards through quests and daily streak rewards.
Influence on Development: Games with higher Boost scores are more likely to be prioritized, though technical complexity still plays a role.
Earning Boosts
Free Users
Earn Boosts through quests and daily streak rewards once you create your account.
You can find available quests in the Pulse tab.
Pro Subscribers
Get 25 Boosts every month with an active subscription (monthly or yearly).
Your Boosts do not expire
If your subscription ends, you'll stop getting monthly Boosts.
Note: You can't buy Boosts separately or transfer them between accounts.
Unsupported games: If a game you've boosted gets marked as unsupported, you'll get a full refund of your Boosts.
Using Boosts
Understanding the Pulse tab
Open the Pulse tab to see Boost activity across the community:
Top Voted: the most in-demand games that don't have mods yet. These are the community's top requests, driven by Boosts.
Upcoming: games getting new mods soon, or updates coming to existing mods.
Your Votes: the games you've Boosted.
Recently Updated: games that recently received mod updates.
Finding Boost-eligible games
Boost-eligible games have a "Boost" button (double arrow icon) on their game page.
Allocating Boosts
Open a game's page and find the Boost section, or go to the Pulse tab to view top-voted games and the upcoming queue.
Click the "Boost" button (double arrow icon) to apply a Boost for the game.
There's no limit to how many Boosts you can use on one game, so focus them where they'll have the most impact.
Tracking progress
Games actively being developed for new mods or updates for existing mods show up in Upcoming.
Boosts help prioritize which games we work on, but technical complexity and other factors affect when (or if) mods get made.
