Wand is safe to use and does not contain viruses or malware. However, some antivirus programs may flag it incorrectly due to how trainers work and how our software is protected.
Reasons of Wand being flagged by antivirus
Antivirus tools sometimes label Wand or its trainers as threats because:
Trainers modify game memory, which resembles the behavior of malicious software.
Our code is protected using methods that can prevent antivirus tools from scanning them correctly.
Some antivirus software uses aggressive heuristics and flags any app it cannot analyze thoroughly.
These are false positives. Wand is safe and trusted by millions of users worldwide, with over 11,000 five-star reviews on Trustpilot. Wand does not and will never include malware in our products. Our platform is funded by our Pro subscribers — not ads, not spyware, and never bundled junkware.
Antivirus blocking Wand
If your antivirus is blocking or removing Wand or its trainers, follow these steps to fix it:
1. Restore files from quarantine
Check your antivirus’s quarantine section and restore any Wand-related files.
2. Add Wand to your antivirus exceptions
Whitelist the following two Wand directories in your antivirus:
C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Wand
C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\Wand
This prevents future false positives from deleting or interfering with trainer files.
