Monthly Update - May 2026

May brought several new features to Wand. Mission Explorer for Cyberpunk 2077 and Hogwarts Legacy gives you a visual map of every mission in a game so you can see every prerequisite, every branch, and how everything connects. The video editor now lets you show your keyboard and mouse inputs inside your recorded highlights. Fog of War on Wand Maps entered beta. The game library kept growing. And a lot of work happened underneath the surface, making everything faster and more reliable.

Here's the full picture.

Mission Explorer

Some games are sprawling. Cyberpunk 2077 has hundreds of missions across main jobs, side jobs, gigs, Tarot cards, Cyberpsychos, and more. Most of them connect to each other in ways that aren't obvious until you're already deep into the game.

Mission Explorer shows you the whole picture. Every mission, every prerequisite, every branch, laid out as a visual graph you can filter, search, and navigate. You can see what you've completed and what you'd need to do first to reach a specific mission. If you've ever tried to plan a particular ending, this is what you've been waiting for.

Available now for Cyberpunk 2077 and Hogwarts Legacy. Find it in the sidebar on the game page. We're working on bringing Mission Explorer to more games soon, so let us know which ones you'd like to see next.

Input Overlay in Video Editor

Wand can now record your keyboard and mouse inputs during highlight capture and overlay them directly into the clip. This overlay is visible in the video itself, so when you share a clip, whoever's watching can see exactly what you were doing at every moment. It's useful for breaking down a difficult sequence, explaining a setup to a friend, or just revisiting something you'd like to understand better.

Fog of War on Wand Maps (Beta)

Wand Maps now has a Fog of War mode in games that support live location. When Fog of War is enabled, the map starts obscured and clears around you as you move through the game world, revealing pins and areas as you reach them. Your progress saves across sessions and picks up wherever you left off across web, mobile, and the Wand app.

If you'd rather see the full map, you can toggle it off at any time from the map layer controls and reset it whenever you want. But for players who prefer to discover things at their own pace without accidentally seeing where everything is, Fog of War mode is the way.

Also This Month

  • Cash App added as a payment method
  • Nearby pin notification cooldown
A two-minute cooldown now prevents nearby-pin alerts from stacking up when you're already in the area. If you've ever had alerts fire repeatedly while standing near a cluster of pins, you'll appreciate this one.
  • Subnautica 2 Wiki
Subnautica 2 launched in Early Access this month, and Wand launched with Maps, Wiki, and Game Guide available from day one.
